The beer, the WRAFs, the beer, the Rugby songs, the beer, the WRAFs, the bere, the Grubgy snogs etc., etc., Falls over, drunk again!!!!!

And don't forget the Chunky Pies! And all those Rugby Songs (bet the WRAFs knew more than you did......)

And the NAAFI on a Sunday lunchtime...... now I'm really getting nostalgic, because I'm sure I hated it at the time!

I must admit, I remember some of the WRAFs singing louder than us guys some of the time! No missing out the Blue Stuff, either!!

And don't you be telling me porkies.....
I'll bet you really enjoyed sinking a pint or four of a Sunday lunch!!!!

As for writing in first person, I cannot see how I can avoid it when passing on personal experience....Can you?

You're right, and you didn't really write much in the first person anyway. And, IMO, the Guide can really only be a subjective thing (just see the entry on Ashford, Kent) and I think the first person just emphasises the fact that the entries are written by "lay persons" for the interest of others. If you see what I mean. Anyway, I'm looking out for it in the edited entries section.
