Being a Doctor

Hi!
I'm just curious... When you go to parties (or other social events) and it comes up in conversation that you're a doctor, do people start saying stuff like "well... i've got this problem with my knee" and expect you to solve it.
I just ask because when I mention that I'm a programmer, people are always like "well... I've got this problem with MS word", and it starts to grate after a while.
Actually, when I was in hospital this summer with a spontaneous pneumothorax (did I spell that right) and we were waiting for a doctor to come and stick a tube in, and I couldn't really go anywhere, the nurse corneded me and started asking me why her email wasn't working. Was this just an extreme example of the above, or do you think she was getting her own back for similar questioning experiences?
Friendly,
Si

Ah... The old 'Excel' problem. You probably need to clear your memory cache. Hold down alt, press F4, and answer 'no' to any of the following questions.
