Welcome to h2g2! I'm one of the Assistant Community Editors, so if you need any advice on anything h2g2 related, feel free to ask!

You seem to be finding your way around okay, but if you're looking for somewhere to go, you might want to try the welcome page for newcomers - http://www.h2g2.com/A5752 - or the Aces' homepage - http://www.h2g2.com/A214796 - which has lots of interesting links. Also, if you click on the h2g2 logo in the top left corner, it will take you back to the front page, which gets updated daily with all the latest goodies.

While you're here, we'd also like you to contribute to the guide - try searching for some topics that interest you, and if there are no current entries on those topics, why not write one? If you're interested, have a look at http://www.h2g2.com/writing-guidelines for an idea of what we're looking for.

Have fun!

Why thank you!
Its all rather good fun, this H2G2 lark.
I'll keep it brief, cos you probably get lots of replies from people you welcome.
How do I make it known that I'm quite happy to write about anything medical if people have a demand for it (as long as I know something about it obv.)?

Ta.
Adam

Actually, you'd be surprised how many people never get round to replying...
Anyway, why not pop over to the University of Life at http://www.h2g2.com/C573 where you can register for whatever field of research takes your fancy. smiley - smiley

Ta very much.
I've tried writing a few things. One thing confuses me:

Do the editors/subs just look at what has been posted on the peer review page, or do they also wander round aimlessly looking for good stuff?

Thanks for your advice & assistance - Adam

Well, there are also Scouts who do the wandering around aimlessly bit - they have a page at http://www.h2g2.com/Scouts
