Hello Bluebottle

Hobbies? Well I like computers. And my favourite TV show is Star Trek, thats why I am Spacegirl.

But I think you must have the wrong person - I've only been a day or so, I haven't had time to be popular yet!

Well Spacegirl, you may have only been here one day, but you seem to have had a popular start smiley - smiley So, welcome to h2g2.

Ah... a Star Trek fan. That's always a good sign. You interested in any other sci-fi, or just Star Trek. I personally like most sci-fi, from Battlestar Galactica and Babylon 5 through Star Wars to, erm, more sci-fi. I also like comedies on TV like Red Dwarf & Blackadder.

And you can never beat Monty Python. smiley - winkeye

Spacegirl

I really don't understand my apparent popularity. Wierd.

You're right about Monty Python, though, it's the best.

Your popularity must be down to your good looks and witty personality, I reckon. smiley - smiley Enjoy it, why not?

So, what is your favourite Python film?

I've lost track of which episodes I've seen and which I haven't, but a friend of mine is currently trying to collect them all on DVD.

So, what did you think of "A Fish Called Wanda" and "Feirce Creatures"?

I'm glad that you like the smileys - they were fun to do, and somehow I managed to draw them. But your spacegirl picture on your page works well - I can never do anything big and make it look convincing. Did you do it yourself?

Hello Spacegirl

Post 12

Spacegirl

No, it was clipart but I changed the colours and deleted her handbag.

I'm glad you like it!

Hello Spacegirl

Post 13

Bluebottle

Well, she looks effective. smiley - smiley And I'm glad you deleted the handbag, it wouldn't look the same. It definately gives a good look to your page. smiley - smiley

Did you ever watch an old sci-fi program called "UFO"? In it, all the women on the Moon wore wonderful silver suits and bright blue wigs - it was great! Your spacegirl reminds me of them. smiley - smiley

Hello Spacegirl

Spacegirl

No I've never seen that program. It sounds good though.

Hi Keeper of the seven keys. smiley - smiley
Spacegirl - you really should see UFO if you can - I know it was repeated on BBC2 not that long ago, I expect it'll come back on TV again. It was pretty much like "Space 1999" - only better. Classic sci-fi, if not overly convincing. Wasn't it by the creators of "Thunderbirds" etc?

I saw some of Space 1999. I enjoyed it when I could work out what was happening.
