Hi, I was hoping you could just give me a little pointer.
I found this really neat part on this site where there's a collection of events in history, arranged by days of the year, ie: "on this day in 1946, a lion escaped from the San Fransisco zoo" etc.
I have no idea how to find that site again, so if you have more info, I would be much obliged.

This is such as huge site, it's very possible that I've not come across the page you mention.

You could try h2g2's Calendar - A3332233 if that's not what you meant, let me know, I'll see if I can find the page you meant.
