Bad luck or destiny
Posted Apr 30, 2005
A friend of mine was travelling through India ,he was given a lift in a car, during the journey he fell sick and the driver dropped him off at a medical center back in the village they had left.He was there for several days until he recovered. When he was given a lift out of the village he passed the same car he had been travelling in it was down a ravine. He was told that the driver of the car had been killed in the accident. He felt shocked and wondered if the car would have crashed if he had been in it,then on reflection he wondered if he was responsible for the crash as if he had not been sick the driver would not have taken a detour.
So was it bad luck that the car crashed or was it his destiny that it would have happened no matter what route he had taken?
Whether or not we choose to turn right or left if our fate is predetermined we always end up in the same place destiny. It made me wonder..

Nature lovers
Posted Apr 5, 2005
The natural world is a fantastic place to me.I love watching the wildlife that visits my garden ,among the visitors are chaffinch, greenfinch, thrush, collared doves, magpies,,great
,robins, and the humble sparrows. The sparrows are hunted by two sparrow hawks that have now claimed my garden as part of their territory.
The variety of the insects that are resident is amazing bumble bees ,honey bees ,hover flies ,ladybirds, spiders & not to mention the gardeners pests like aphids ,snails and my old enemy slugs(they love my plants more than life itself)
I also have a little hedgehog community that have grown amid the retaining wall .Their presence is actively welcomed by me since they are a lovely natural solution to my snail and slug invasion
I forgot to mention the broadbean beetles little fellows fall off the plants and lay upside down pretending to be dead.I admire their acting skills and decided to share a portion of my annual crop with them
So if you are a garden loving vegetable growing wildlife watching fanatic or merely a pottering sporadic plant lover let me know

Insomnia
Posted Apr 3, 2005
Really want a cure for insomnia!I spend two hours hoping I will fall asleep then twenty minutes deciding if I should get up again. Then I get up and waste more time thinking shall I read, watch tv,have a hot drink or go back to bed.Worrying about not getting enough sleep takes over which forces me to return to bed. There must be a cure for it ?Self hypnosis maybe magic spells, fairy dust, the sandman...feeling sleepy now yawning....ZZZZzzzzzz

Dreams
Posted Apr 1, 2005
When the alarm clock woke me up this morning I was having a fantastic dream,I will spare you the details of its content, but I realised that when I am having a bad or unpleasant dream the alarm clock never goes off in time to save me from whatever fate awaits me...why is that.Do bad dreams only take place in the middle of the night and not ten minutes before the alarm goes off?
