It's not my choice to make....
If he was set free the foxes would get him in a trice.
At last he'll make a dinner or two....
I could call one of the goslings something but I have to make sure it's not one that's going for Xmas dinner...
(apparently they keep escaping, it doesn't bode well for their continued survival)

Can I name the gosling you aren't going to eat then, pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaassssssssse.
It will take my mind off Fothergill's untimely death

Fothergill hasn't untimely died yet.... Errm I think that makes sense...
The gooses have to grow a bit (they've doubled in size already) before we can work out who is male and who isn't....
I believe he is going to keep a breeding trio so think up 2 female names and a male name.
Dad is quite taken with the fact they are so friendly and controllable (they'll happily follow you)... He may keep more than the 3 geese but it depends how they turn out a bit later.... They can get a bit aggressive towards other animals...

You can, once the "keepers" are sorted out I'll take individual photos so you can name them attach a name to the face so to speak...
(He's had a bit of fox trouble recently mind so even the keepers may not survive....)

The electric fence seems to work most of the time, you get the odd one that just strolls in down the drive though....
