Well thanx a lot. I'll be sure to check out all these suggestions. I'm having great fun wandering around reading and talking. I guess I'll have to read the books for more clarification. I first heard of them about two years ago and I've been meaning to check them out too but I usually have a hard time doing things that I mean to do.

I know what you mean! I used to have the same problem myself awhile back, but I started carrying a small memo-notebook with me and jot everything down now so I can remember later when I go through it. Eventually I see it enough times and go, "Hey, bout time I got started on that!" particularly if I date the entry (which I usually do.), then I finally go out and do it whatever it is. This has helped me immensely, give it a shot, who knows it might work for you too. *Chuckles* It's odd, now I feel almost naked if I go out and don't have my memo book and a pen with me.

Let me be honest-I only joined here because my brother works on the team to produce this website! Even though all I attempt to do is annoy him (and I do succeed), I ended up making my own friends and am glad I'm here!

OK, he's REALLY annoying me now! It's like he's running away from me, he comes online on ICQ, I say "we need to talk to you", so he goes offline without saying a word, we leave countless messages on his answerphone and he doesn't get back, and I just phoned him and he doesn't bother to answer! Brothers eh?

I'm hoping my next approved guide entry will be on eclipses......

*Raises an eyebrow* Who is we? Are you hearing voices in your head? I can recommend a good doctor if that's the case.

Katsy, I know what you mean about people who get online and then immediately get off. It annoys the hell out of me. I don't use ICQ but I have AIM. What also gets on my nerves is this one friend of mine from school, if you talk to him for a while he just stops and won't answer at all then he signs off or puts an away message up before you can say anything to him.

Exactly! My brother won't answer the phone either...

Look, DON'S START presuming I'M BARMY BECAUSE I HAVE ENOUGH OF IT FROM MY BROTHER!!!!! When I say "we" I mean my parents as well. OK? BTW if you want to leave nasty messages on my behalf his page is http://www.h2g2.com/U23 , but don't worry, he's hardly likely to reply because he believes that everyone at h2g2 are a bunch of idiots and not worth talking to. I did say that includes him and he said "oh yeah". At least I get some points.......

Katsy, you have to understand a couple of things. Being of the age of the moral majority (ie - no longer a minor), no longer living at home and owning his own phone, he has the option of answering his phone or not if he feels like it. I myself haven't spoken to my Mum in almost three months now.

After going to his page and reading it, it seems to me that he's very recently had an unhappy love affair. I'd give him space and time were I you. You don't really have much of a choice and I guarantee you, everytime you and your folks hound him about not calling he's going to resent it and go even longer without returning the call.

Guys are like that, you have to give them time and space sometimes and if you do, you'll be amazed at how quickly they'll zoom right back to you. It's sort of like the thing where women want a man to listen and sympathize with them when they're talking about problems and not offer them solutions.

If it's really desperately urgent that you get ahold of him, you have 3 options.

1) Write him a letter.
2) Write him an EMail.
3) Show up on his doorstep.

listen, he's been moaning for the past year that he wants to marry this girl who's gone off and left him, just go to his user page and there are several journals there charting his progress on her, which wasn't very sucessful.

I hope he doesn't read this.......
