Cole is back

Worth mentioning:
After an extended bicycle trip from Poland to Dubrovnik, Croatia, Cole arrived back in Warsaw. Initially he intended to cycle arround the world; after six weeks he got homesick to his new wife and little son. Buying cement

The ukrainians worked really fast, all walls are knocked down and they cry for stones and beton (cement). So we went to the great do/it-yourself supermarket CASTORAMA in Warsaw 5 minutes before closing and made everybody mad there by requesting beton brands that obviously only exist in the Ukraine. But Poles and also the workers at CASTORAMA are very helpful and 30 min after closing we got all our stuff, including a VAT invoice. Construction can go on!

rebuild an appartment in Warsaw

My girl and I recently bought an apartment in Muranow, Warsaw. Through some connections we hired a group of Ukrainians to do the remont (tax authorities, look away!). They started to work today and I already like them very much. They are very modest and I feel a strong urge to supply them with beer and other goodies every day. They knocked down exactly those walls that we asked them for!
