No worries Blue, it's not a requirement that you check in periodically, you'll not be penalized or chastized in any way. BUT, you may be forced to wend your way through a huge mass of jabber as the people trying to talk and introduce themselves to you entertain themselves by filling up space talking about everything and anything they can think of, since they don't know what things are Blue-related topics and are just sort of poking and hoping they'll hit a topic you'll find of interest and chime in.
