I just wanted to say that I hoped the teeny squabble about correct English usage hadn't put you off Peer Review. I'm sure that the last remark wasn't aimed at you - rather it was aimed at the sub-editors (myself and Gnomon) who are rather in favour of your piece.
I'm sure one of the Scouts are poised to recommend your work to the BBC editors, but first you may just need to comply with a few minor edits.
I have to say I really love the piece, it is a bit of fresh air ( or maybe the submariners equivalent?)

Thank you for your welcome and support for my piece.
The squabble was seemingly above me, but good entertainment nonetheless.
The air was not fresh - more 'familiar', and after a long dive 'intimate'!
