It has been eight days since the last entry to this journal. Since then, several things have been accomplished:
1.) The Unedited Guide Entry on Shark Reproduction has been written.
2.) More research has been completed, to limited results. Not enough information has been found for an entire Guide Entry.
3.) Considered writing four articles, but writer's block has gotten in the way.
More Entries will be coming within the next month, so stay tuned.

This is Researcher 143962's first entry of his or her personal journal.
It is better to think of this Researcher as neither male nor female, to eliminate any bias that might come with the knowledge of his or her sex.
During Researcher 143962's journal, it is absolutely necessary that he or she refer to himself or herself in the third person. If this were not done, than you, the being who somehow found access to Researcher 143962's journal, would be thoroughly confused when you read aloud "I spent the day in a cage sixty-five meters beneath the oceans surface, where a fairly large sea otter attempted to eat me."
This researchers first bit of field work entailed searching for giant sea otters. The first step in finding these cunning beasts was to first discover where they live. The first place they were found was off the shores of Greenland. But they were only in Greenland on the first day of the first month of Summer. Of course, giant sea otters only appear there if the first day of July is also a Sunday, the first day of the week. Coincidentally, July 2000 did not begin on a Sunday. As such, this researcher had quite a bit of trouble locating them.
To make a long story short, Researcher 143962 ended up in a shark cage, 65 meters under the sea, adjacent to the octopus' guarden. Octopus appears to be the giant sea otter's primary food source. Its secondary food source is shark cages. This caused quite a problem, as Researcher 143962 was _in_ a shark cage at the time. The creature was obviously created through genetic engineering. After coming to that conclusion, this researcher decided to abandon his subject, and move on to something else.
