I'm Peta the Community Editor of h2g2 - I see that you've already been greeted by some of our Researchers.
There is going to be a real time meet up in the Netherland later on this year, several members of the in house editorial team will probably go along too. We like to party and the other meet ups have been really great fun...
And welcome from me too..

HI PETA!
Yeah, I'm quite busy here!! Checking it all out!
So what does such a meeting mean? Going out into town drinking beer? Then count me in!!! How do I know when such a meeting is on..I get a message by then? I hope so!
And welcome from me too..

This is the page of the Researcher who is organising the event.http://www.h2g2.com/U48304, she'll tell you all about it. Leave a message on her homepage.
Her name is Shazz, she's really nice. She moved from England to the Netherlands to by with a guy that she met on h2g2. How romantic..
And welcome from me too..
Kheldar (Don't hate the media, Become the media) Posted Jul 19, 2000
Hey there
If you can't reach Shazz for any reason, apart from TowelMaster, you can always contact me. I'm also from the Netherlands, Alphen a/d Rijn that is, just like Shazz and TM, so if anything is going on, I'll probably know about it as well.
Oh and btw, a big welcome to h2g2 from me as well. It's always nice to see another 'civilized' person here to stand up to the front of all these crazed non-Dutch people
And welcome from me too..
shazzPRME Posted Jul 19, 2000
I hope that I'm not included in that list of crazed people Kheldar! It wasn't my fault I was born English! LOL
BTW... try looking over in the Post M'niki... the h2g2 newspaper I run... there is a neat article about a pub crawl in Holland in this week's edition! It could be just what you need to escape for a few days!

The article is pretty good. Sounded like great fun, that pub tour. He only missed out on the most important one...
And welcome from me too..

Hello m'nikki, welcome to the world of h2g2.
I am Dutch too and also living in Alphen aan den Rijn. As I am the only dutch who is runing for president of this community, together with my vice Don Vito, I would like to get your vote.
Visit my page and see the links to other great people on this community. Maybe I will meet you in my Casino or somewhere else.
Have fun and maybe we will meet in real life.

Of course I am.
You know I want to win everything there is. It is a shame that I can't welcome new users anymore with my campaign.
And welcome from me too..
Don Alfredo Posted Jul 25, 2000
I have got an e-mail by Shazz which prohibits to welcome new users and aks to vote for me. It is sent to all teh other candidates too.
The Editors are afraid we scare off new members with our politics.
Key: Complain about this post
