I'm enjoying your postings in general. I like your abrasive style. I've used something like it myself, now and again, though rarely here on hootoo. That's probably because I've changed so much since I first started to post here that I almost feel I grew up here, and don't want to get into rows here. I posted on CARM for a bit, and got into plenty of rows there, using arguments and logic I'd picked up from Edward the Bonobo, SoRB, and Otto Fisch, mainly, besides a couple of my own and some from books.
Perhaps I should get more involved in the religion and politics discussions here, instead of just reading them.
I wonder what happened to Insight and some of the others from way back when.

Oh okay. It's the Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry. They have a cringe-inducing website and, if you look carefully, a forum. I met some lovely people there, actually, religious and non. Also some complete and utter horrors (including the administrators).
The real low point is the abortion forum, where the administrators had a post actively discouraging reasoned argument and encouraging name-calling.
The whole forum has been redesigned since I used to post there, but I still have records of a lot of the conversations, as they were automatically e-mailed to me.
