Thought I should mention... any bluntness in my posts on the extremist thread isn't aimed at you (in a here goes kea and Ed again kind of way). It's late and I'm just arguing on auto pilot.

I did have this moment earlier when it seemed like you, swl, me and maybe Effers all posted in such classic ways from our respective positions. It was like a micro moment on h2, where we've all become the cardboard cutouts of ourselves. Far too predictable, and soon we won't even need to talk to each other, because anything we might say will be too obvious.

Well, indeed. Contrary to what others imply, I don't pursue vendettas. However it seems that I have annoyed enough people by consistently challenging such behaviour and this has made me consider whether to make noohootoo a jumping off point. His RL friend don't consider it an issue, so who am I to differ with those who'll be running The Community?

On my comment which you disagree (maybe?), ie 'In Hollywood it's easier to be play gay than to be gay.'...if I weren't being stomped on I'd admitted that I'd phrased that clumsily and lazily. Yes, of course there are plenty of gay men and women throughout the industry. But other than as a niche product it doesn't like to acknowledge it. And that's even more true for lesbians than for gay men.

But there's no space to develop and clarify such points - which aren't always easy to articulate straight off - in front of someone whose agenda is to shout that all this so-called homophobia/misogyny/racism/etc just doesn't exist. Idiots!!!
