Yep, you pressed the button.
It is an orange button at the top of your screen, more or less in the cetre, on it you will find white letters that spel "Who's Online"

I must be really stupid but there's no orange button on my screen? There's the 69 button o the left, a banner add in the middle and "about us on the right".

Sorry, you must be using a diiferent user interface than me. 
A simmilar button must be hiding somewere.
I don't want to call you realy stupid.. But if you look closely the "69" is actually "h2g2"
