Antiope

Now I doubt if anyone will actual read this or reply but as I have an afternoon with little more too do then muse, I may as well muse here as not.

I have been a member of several online communities over time and have enjoyed experiences both positive and negative. Like anyone one who is a member of an online community the reasons too join was mostly the same. A need to communicate with like minded people and if lucky win some new “friends”. Of course many will argue they have a plethora of reasons for going a community but I myself tend to think the motivation by most is the same, too interact with other human beings.

I actually benefited in real life by following up on writing courses to benefit the need for clear communication online. As well as experiencing several journeys and meetings that to a fault proved too be surprising and all too often intense for all the wrong reasons. How many posts I have read written by different people that reflect exactly the same sentiments and thoughts I for one can not count.

It has also lead me to the train of thought that rather then being debasing too the human experience it tends to prove that what actually attracts people to us in the authentic experiences of the sense’s is indeed as intangible and wondrous as the deep seated cerebral relationships that can be experienced on line. To compare one to the other as another writer placed it is like comparing apples and oranges. Yet as is the nature of mankind too compare we will compare and dissect each while a peach tree is sprouting somewhere else.

Just as you if you have been online for more then a year have realised some very odd shit goes down and it is unlike fleshy communities a perpartraitorless crime rather then a victim less one.

Too list the manner of deceptions I have seen employed within the intellectual clusters of cyberspace to deceive I have found staggering. Yet it is not it seems confined to cyber communities with programmes like Trillian making any manner of slight of hand possible.

Here I am staggered by the thought that in enjoying cyberspace, one can create fantasies to escape your fantasies. No matter how often I think it, it does so make me laugh; such is the old grey matters inability to process this one.

What we need is a book of etiquette I think to help us navigate and survive this fifth dimension of existence.

If you could add a chapter a topic or an observation what would your own input be?

I am going to keep thinking about this one so if you have any thoughts yourself please share them with me…I need all thinking I cans get!
