The Son of Frog.

Once on a bamboo edged pond in far, far, away mystical and magical Chi Na, lived an ageing Mother frog and her child, Little Frog.
Little Frog, was wilful of nature and would, in the contrary nature given to little frogs, do every thing in the opposite directions and orders of Mother Frog.
If Mother Frogs wide gentle face had said east, then, Little Frog would go west, and if she had directed Little frog down, the little frog would go up.
It caused great concern to the mother frog, for Mother Frog knew, in the way of age’s wisdom, that she would soon die and would not see the new spring.
Mother Frog’s heart had known joy on the green and safe mountains; it was there that Mother Frog wished to be buried. But, Mother Frog did not wish to be buried by the cold waters edge of the often dangerous pond.
As Little Frog dwelt always in contradiction, Mother Frog decided to tell Little Frog to bury her by the water and not to bury her on the mountain.
So, to the Little Frog the Mother frog said” Do NOT bury me on the mountain. Little Frog, bury me by the water”
When, Little Frog felt the words of Mother Frog’s burial heavy on his heart, Little Frog awakened from his mistakes. Deciding at once, to oblige with a good and grateful heart Mother Frogs wishes.
When Mother Frog died, Little Frog respectfully buried her at the waters edge and not on the mountain.
Then, as night would fall, Little Frog would sit alone at the waters edge and worry for his mother, that she would be too lonely in the water’s of the pool, so he croaked his sorrows loudly by the waters edge.
When heavy round drops of rain swelled the water, Little Frog worried she would be washed away from Little Frog forever. So again Little Frog croaked loudly of his sorrows by the waters edge.
However, when Little Frog’s mother was alive Little Frog would not listen too her, so what good did all this sadness and croaking serve Little Frog upon her death?
