may i try to tell u what scintillation means ?
this are very small lightnings caused by particles like alpha- or
beta-radiation (electrons)on a lihgt-sensitive layer.
the phosphorus-layer on your PC-Monitor is one of them.
the electron-beam makes it scitillating.
PLT is a very good formula !
i´ll make a note of that
