"Termin"
Posted Jun 28, 2000
It took nearly an hour, until a helpful "hand" told me that the german "termin" I used before is appointment. And now that I know the correct word I had to discover that there is no way to change a journal entry and I have to keep the one with the mistake and have to hurry not to miss my appointment. I'm sure this is to teach me something. I'm curious when I will know what.

My Dear

I Just wanted to spend an hour or so in front of this machine, until the next termin and now I and exspecially my english and my even worse knowledge of computers are tensed to an extend I hardly knew before. I absolutely have to bring my dictionary along the next time I get here. And all this just because I had a question which I thought would probably not be answered in a normal book. So I thought I could look in the Hitchhikers Guide. And how did it end? I registered as a researcher, fought myself through lots of pages full of a language that is (to me) hard to understand, struggle with constucting my homepage here (Me, who I is glad he is able to handle an electronic calculator correctly) and through all this I forgot the question why I entered here.
I am sure this shall teach me something, but I have absolutely no Idea what.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
