h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

woo hoo! It's pouring down rain and thundering and lightning. The wind is whipping the trees around and putting on a show. I do hope it's raining at my house (I'm at work) because I'm so tired of the dry weather. Drought sucks.

I just want to go run outside in the pouring rain and dance until I'm sopping...which would take about 2 minutes judging by the condition of the people walking into the library just now...

The next time, if you can, I would highly recommend going out into the rain. There is nothing like going out and standing in the middle of a storm and let the energy just caress you. Providing it isn't a life threatening storm.

I miss the incredible lightning and thunderstorms that would come up in the Great Plains. I would go out and stand there with my eyes closed and my face up towards the sky. I would feel so good when I went in...so refreshed and energized.

Yes, I know what you mean. It's one of my favorite things to do during these summer rainstorms. The rain just washes away all the stress and leaves me feeling, well .. clean.
