Please, it's the very first thing Sam should teach you: how to update the FP. I found myself sneaking in from wo*k this morning, only to be utterly disappointed. I had forgotten that this is the first week where the FP won't change. That means, it's been the same since Monday.

Please, talk with Sam about more updates.

Hi B'El, it takes a long time to train someone on this site especially before they can update the front page and Chris is only going to be with us for 3 or 4 weeks. Having one new page a week for the time being allows me to get on with the work of preparing for the redesign and the change in registration process and training people up as well. (It also allows me to take leave or be ill!!) I want us to engage more with the PR process, make sure that Entries are properly subbed etc, keep the quality thresholds high, and also give Entries and artwork longer exposure in the limelight as well. This is a temporary measure while we manage a period of change on the site. Bear with us! We're doing the best we can.

That's all right, Sam, and I fully understand the reasons for it, but then I had to try.

I'll even try to keep lil at bay, to reduce your workload.
