I don't know if its practicable for you, but I think you'd be excellent.
You're clearly very able to see through bullshit/games/politics on the big or little scale.
what do you think?

Hi thanks for your kind words on the other thread. Unfortunately I
won't have enough time to act as moderator (I think jwf would make
for a good moderator).
I think the main issue regarding the ASK H2G2 threads at the moment
is the lack of "new blood" - new members to energise the H2G2
community. It had been mentioned that the BBC sent out 170,000
emails with signs of a response from 17,000 (that number has
perhaps increased now). Yet so few seem to contribute to the
threads. It may be that many have been driven off whilst others are
waiting to see whether or not the newH2G2 will fly so to speak.
It sometimes feels a little like the last days of the Roman Empire
here (although I wasn't around for that ); on many of the
threads there doesn't seem to be a sufficient critical mass of civil
minded contribitions. I do agree that it is sometimes best to take
time away from H2G2. When one considers there are about 6.95
billion people in this world, then the few who may act to upset
people on H2G2 are not necessarily representative of anything other
than themselves.
ps William Blake and TS Elliot are amongst my favorite poets.
pps I hope your artwork is going well. I wonder how one would
represent / express H2G2 in the form of a work of art?
