Its not a new attitude that I have been showing in the stumped forums, its been fairly consistent or a couple of months now (except when attacked by NYC); but so you know, Happy likes pain, he is manically happy, thanks to his clown training he dose have superior Strength, endurance and co-ordination BUT he is not invulnerable and most defiantly can be hurt.

all i'm saying is that now that we've mentioned it, it seems better. i'm not saying that's true... i'm just observing.

i realize that NYC is being a bit... cruel... but i meant it when i said he had a bad day IRL. maybe it would be best if you didn't hara-- er, TRY TO DISCUSS this with him today. don't take it personally, either, okay? the LAST thing i want is to be responsible for someone's feelings getting hurt IRL.

what we're saying is that it's rather annoying for the person you're fighting to be going "that feels good" and the like... but that's your character. maybe if you didn't do it so much.... i dunno. who am i to judge?

I know Happy can be irritating, problem is I feel NYC has it in for me so I am less responsive than I should be to his attacks – the thing is he seems to expect me to die whenever he sneezes in my direction. Now you say he has had a bad day, fair enough but he started this with an inappropriate outburst, I'm willing to leave it or today (just a few loose ends to tie up), but this needs to be sorted – both NYC & myself appear to have an unhealthy attitude to each other. So it would be wise if NYC & myself continued our debate on his page when he is feeling calmer.

i just wanted you to know that i don't totally agree with him on this either. we just had an arguement about it on AIM and at the moment, i'm not speaking to him because he said that he wanted you to either change your style or resign. i totally disagree because, after all, this IS a free world and the internet is for everyone. if you want to be in STUMPED, you should. you also should be able to act however you want to, as long as you're not perpetually breaking continuity, like claiming to have killed other researchers.

so let's just say that i agree that NYC /IS/ treating you unfairly and taking out his anger at his bad day upon you, an innocent bystander. i apologize for him (something which i am NOT in the habit of doing) and i really hope that you two can sort this out. i would feel /really/ bad if you left STUMPED because of this.

Thankyou I do not want to cause trouble between the two of you & now I am the one whose feeling guilty, but this has been brewing for months and needs sorting as I said on KL's page if enough members of STUMPED agree with NYC I will go as I do not wish to spoil any-ones enjoyment. I gather he has had a bad day by the way he is haggling over the continuity meanings of a 3 line joke about the BattleStar Galactica I made 4 months ago. I have offered him a truce for today, I hope he accepts.

and i really hope you don't feel that you have to resign. that's just plain wrong, and if that happens, i really don't think i'll ever look at NYC the same. i'm already royally pissed at him... and for damned good reason. he shouldn't be taking out his anger on you.

Best bit is daylight saving which confuses everybody

especially since arizona doesn't change its time... that creates even MORE problems!!!

Should try Europe; Scandinavia, UK & mainland Europe all change on differnt dates, although there have been moves in the European Parliament to standadise on this issue.
