How is Texas? How is life, the universe, and everything? How is
work? And -gasp- your /love life/? Tell me everything!

Texas is grand! (You really should come visit - in all your spare time, I know. ) I love my job - back in tech support again, so how could I not? Love life... Yeah, as if. But I am working a lot.

And how are you doing, dear. What I've read in your journel makes it sound as if you have had a rough year indeed.

It has been a tough year indeed! I keep telling myself that it could be a lot worse; I could be in Iraq right now. That throught helps a bit, but sometimes it's hard not to be self-absorbed when things are getting nasty.

So is there more to do in Texas than SLC? I never did hear why you left, but I guess that's not important. As long as you're happy... Just don't become one of those serial movers, or I'll never be able to keep up with you!

On the bright side, I'm making headway with wedding plans. It's looking like it's going to be in Vegas. Fun!

Well, I came to TX when I transfered down here with work. Then I left the 'Vyrg - evil corp that it is - to come down here to Austin and work for a much better company altogether, Multimedia Games. Lots of fun adn back in the tech sector for the G.

Yes, I am also very glad that you are not in Iraq. This is not a thing that would make your doting mother or I very happy at all. That being said, I wish that the year could have been happier for you. Its never fun to have such a rough year.

Vegas, huh? Well, I'll be sure that I can make it up there then. Its a little farther away than it was when I was in SLC, but well worth the trip. Besides, how much trouble can a bunch of HooTooers get into in Vegas...

Multimedia Games... would that be video games? Hmm... the bf wants to get into video game production eventually.

Does everyone still do AIM chats? I'll have to log on and see sometime.

MGAM actually does video bingo games - amoung others, but that's what I'm supporting right now. Its a lot of fun - although a little tough for someone who's never played bingo.

The AIM chats are still going on, but I can't get on AIM from work and don't have connection at home yet. Once I do, though, I'll be part of them again, I'm sure.
