Thank you for being so kind as to remember Pheloxi's h2g2 friends, and informing us during your time of mourning, it is very much appreciated.
I hope you can see how much your brother was respected throughout this site

Yes I am in awe of the level of friendship and contact he had with all of you. It makes me feel better.
Thank you

If you click into the thread your brother Harrie set up, you can click on Peter's tag at the top of the page and then you will have access to all of his threads and journals.
Nothing is hidden in h2g2. He has always been a champion for those lost in the site. He had a great sense of humour... and he often put us all in jackets with long sleeves (straight jackets!), these jackets came in one-size fits all, but you did have a choice of red, white or blue!
Thank you

We'll all be with you (in thoughts) on Friday.

Dear lil,
Thank you for the beautiful flowers we have received today on behalf of all the friends of H2G2!
I have posted information about the day under the general information strand, it was very eventful, filled with tears and joy.
Many relatives and friends attended which was very touching.
We feel held by all of you.
Thank you,
Corine

Dear Corine,
Pheloxi had a wonderful service celebrating his life. Thank you for sharing it with all of his friends.
The flowers were a small token of the esteem in which we held him here in h2g2. He touched so many people around the world.
I pray Peter is now at rest with his father, and that your family now take time to heal itself
love,

Dear Chris,
I am back in England after a difficult few days. It is still hard to believe that he is gone elsewhere. I know he is in peace, his face showed that, and we, the ones left behind, feel the emptiness.
Hopefully with time it will heal and the good memories can take the place of what now feels the hurt.
love
Corine
Thank you

Dear Corine,
If you ever feel the need to talk further, you are always welcome to post here, or send an email.
Sometimes it can be easier to chat with someone not quite so close to the situation

Every time I come to this site I feel touched by the words written and the feelings expressed through these words. It is healing in itself.
Sometimes I feel guilty for not having shown more interest when he did speak about h2g2, me not being into oomputer, me leading a busy life with busy job etc I start thinking ..'I could have...' and this is not helpful as for some reason I did not look it up earlier.
Did I truly know my brother? or only a part of him?
Thanks for asking!!
Love Corine
Thank you

My daughter had spoken of Pheloxi for almost 2 years before I joined h2g2.
They had a close affinity to each other. The photos you asked about? They were taken at her wedding almost 3 years ago. Peter was invited over to attend the ceremony and the evening reception.
I truly regret not taking him up on his offer for us to visit him in Groningen. Again, we always thought there was plenty of time to do it
Of course you knew your brother... unlike any other forms of activities, you can read it all in here!
Corine, just go with the flow, we won't let you fall...
love,
Chris xx

Anytime, love.
It's good to see you are still here, reading his threads.
He created some wonderful pieces of artwork (using smileys), in his Guide Entries

I haven't figured out yet how to insert the smileys or flowers. Peter defenitly had a gift with using those creatively!
Just read the memorial wall, very beautiful to read all those messages and poems like that.
Jim has pointed me to some info about the start of Hootoo and the number 42. I realise that the website started in 2001 and Peter also joined then?
The more he got involved and engaged in the hootoo community the less he visited the community I lived in.Probably also due to health reasons as sometimes he suffered ill health.
love to you,
Cx

The smileys are easy, you can either use the selection below the reply box here, or click on any which will take you to a page where there of lots more!
If you know the name of your smiley, you can set it up yourself by typing < rose > without the spaces
You might like to read this, it gives you a little idea of how/why the site is so popular; http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/hitchhikers/
As for the number 42? Well, it took long to get the answer, that question has been forgotten
Also, it is said that most researcher numbers ie U553817 will make the number 42, click on my number and scroll down to see my 42-ism
Pheloxi wasn't always here, he would sometimes spend hours/days creating his beautiful pages. Indeed, there have been times some of us have emailed him to see if he's alright, because he'd been offline for so long. He wasn't lonely, he sometimes prefered his own company and we respected his need for that too.
If you click on the box 'What is h2g2?' on the right of your page, you will find out more about the site Pheloxi visited all these years

When you sent that one I had a quick look but at present I am still browsing areas related to Pheloxi, knowing that I can return to that one and spent many happy hours reading...

It is there for when you need it
Pheloxi had so many threads of his own. Others he entered and then later unsubscribed from them, either because the conversation had gone off topic, or he could no longer find a reason for staying in them.
I hope you are finding this a small comfort
love,
C xx
