HI! . I'm doing OK. This is my last day at work (second time round), so, as you can see, I'm being very busy (not) How's things with you?

Hehe. Well, Im writing this at 2.30am, in a friends house near London - I landed in Stanstead a few hours ago, and the came to meet me, and we head back to Stanstead on a few more hours, and she's just gone to bed, so Im on here, burning the midnight oil as I used to!

And I'm sure your one of the busiest people there Kes! What you going to do after this? Anything before you hit the UK?

Yes, I noticed the time (GMT)! Making the most of your brief UK stopover eh? Well, I'm planning on getting the house in shape to sell before moving, but other than that, I'm going to take a break and enjoy the summer here. Mind you .... they are already asking me if I'd be free to do a bit more work in a couple of weeks ... ... Looks like I may be OK for income at this rate! Did you get your job extended?

You'll never leave that place! And enjoying the summer... thats not allowed when it so cold over here!

Yes, I got extended in the end - I'll be there till end of April, but hopefully I'll then get transferred to a permanent position in Derby. Well, I can and beg anyways.

Is there much work that needs to be done to your house hon? And when do you think you'll be able to make the big leap?

No, there's not much to be done to the house. Mary & I painted it from end to end just a few months ago. It's more of a thorough tidy, clean and shed-exorcism thing . Hoping to move by February, just so's I get my quots of winter

Derby! yes indeed. Thats where all the training is done and is based, so thats where I would head. But its close enough to many other places, Derby itself is a bit indeed! I was there for 3 days, and on two of them, my bosses decided to go get a curry. Both days it took us over an hour to find it!


Shed-exorcism!!! NOOO!!!! you cant do that, even if you are upping and leaving!

February is good. Just at the coldest time of the year from the midst of summer. Excellent planning! Best of luck with it, but I think that once the painting is done, thats the worst job done!
