Hi yourself! Good to see you. I've managed a couple of Haiku ... basically I'm wandering round looking for "friends", plus trying to resurrect the Lost Poetry Office (with some success). The Moderators have hidden some poems because they are not in English, so they don't know if they are "safe" to be seen How are things with you?

Yep! I saw the haiku! I was so glad you popped by to join in!
Things are pretty good; the Haiku Challenge was still in moderation when we got back, but now everything's all systems go again. And I've got a few other things happening, (including applying to be an ) so things are busy.
I can't seem to get off the '10 most prolific posters' list though perhaps I should actually Real Life occasionally?
NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
Other than having a few posts in bubblish moderated, things seem to be going smoothly; I hope they sort out the poetry for you soon though. It's very disconcerting to have things removed

That Top 10 list is quite addictive! ... Hey! I will keep an eye out for the next "Sainting" ceremony, and make sure I turn up to see you given your wings! We're having trouble getting the material for the "Heaven" pages working again ... mainly 'cos of lack of graphics ... but we'll get there.
../ and remember ... RL is no substitute for h2g2

Well I don't MEAN to be on it; I just have a slight problem with verbosity.
I miss graphics ; but I went and got some from the graphics pages here, so my page isn't so bare any more. But I guess that wouldn't work with heaven.

Yes ... we're thinking of going back to the original medium (stone tablets), using HTML technology (Hammer To Mark Lines)

Nifty! I have a hammer somewhere! (Or rather, the hubby does, and I borrow it when I can't talk him into hammering whatever it is for me. )

Kes, Kes Kes.... If you have a moment, could I ask you a BIG favour? Well, it shouldn't take long...
I wondered if you'd take a look at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A525502 and tell me if you think it's a silly idea or a goer? Because if it looks OK, I'll start advertising it.
Sorry to bug you if you're busy. Just you're online, and I wanted someone to confer with.

Thank you!
I think something strange is going on with the h2g2 clocks... Could they be changing daylight savings too?

Oh Yes! For sure! A great idea. I'll play, and I'll try to think up some "games" ... Advertise away! Write a piece for the "Post"! That's a really good idea - it should get the "words" people on the site going!

Thank you for looking! (I knew the haiku challenge site was a goer because it was actually started long before the page went up -- hence the conversation being at my page and not on the entry about it, but this is new, but not something I wanted on my page. I started a couple of threads there for people to go on with, and will just see if I need to keep adding more or if people are happy to do it themselves.
I've never written a piece for the post before . I'm not sure how to go about it.

OK. I'm not sure if anything's changed under the new system, but here's what I did when I started the Lost Poetry Office .... I looked up the most recent edition (in this case it's at:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A519473
Then I clicked on the "Editor" link, and posted to the Editor, explainng what the LPO was, and asking for some publicity. I got a nice article in the next edition
