i dont use a pc myself, its a "magic link" o and email on my digibox, virginmedia cable.

to do internet things i have to go to my local cybercafe or library

you will have been sent a message "from you ace" a memeber who will guide you on what to do, just reply to the message with what you want to know.

if you look to the left you will see on your own space an h2g2 search box, if you put something you want ie, fashion, then all the guides, written on here by memebers will show in order of there edited or %.

you can write a story, guide, and look on the "front page" this will show you the link to our own personal "the post" type newspaper.

you can also make friends all over the world, i have the weather thread, its in my messages. take a look at anything on the u link, its all to be seen. dont put any persoanl addies or phone numbers on, unless you are sure, advisable not to jim

look to the right of the page on yours click the edit this page, and do an intro,

for now just have it in the normal( look at the bottom of the revered edit page, always write cotinuosly( sorry bad speller)

leaving a gap for now between each text section.

then when you have done your intro, click the update or review first, then add it to the page for all to see,

when you are ready to try the guideml way, this will then allow you to use the hidden links way, and add the pictures from h2g2 gallery, if you want to.

take it one day at a time, walk dont run. ive been about for over 5 years and im still laerning the h2g2, jim

nearly 62 yrs old, im semi-disabled, but can still get around, when you visit my space, you will find a google link to where i live in bradford.

on the top end is my active maill to my home, the other blueyonder is for the cyber along with the hotmail.

any guide or message is seen by anyone that visits your page, there are moderators that make sure we stay in the guidelines.

they only recently made the age 16 and above.

if you are say a queen fan, dr who, and so on there are threeads for all, and homepages, (use the h2g2 search)

i dont hide anything, im to old to bother lol, you will find on my space, my personal flikr to me, the hull meet ones from a meetup i had last year with some memebers, the h2g2 gallery where we have a lady azahar that updates our pics as we send them over the years.

if you click the dragon smiley, it will take you to our smiley list and hao to use them.

if you find someones page you want to say hi to, look for the (discuss this entry) and leave them a message, always check the last messages on a persons page this is an indicator if the page is still active or not,

click on any of the names on my freinds list, to use to get you from page to page, then look at the einds on others jim
