When is an actuary not actually an acctuary?
a girl called Ben Started conversation May 10, 2001
Hi
I was looking at old questions in the Ask H2G2 forum and found yours about actuaries. My sister is one, would you like me to ask her
(You may not remember but you were asking the difference between an actuarial assistant and an actuarial trainee).
All the best

Oh, wow! That was a while ago, but thank you!! Actually, I finally managed to figure it out - and as it happens, the difference for me would have been that I was overqualified and would end up doing the work for less money. Typical! Thanks anyway!
