Glad you're back smiley - smiley, I wondered where you'd got to. congratulations on being an aunt to be! I think you might be busy. I have a niece, she's coming to stay this weekend, I saw her first when she was just hours old, now she's just turned into a teenager.

King Arthur starts off so well, but it all turns out so badly.

I don't have holidays the way you do, but, working part time I have a lot of free time and its easy to arrange my working days to have a week off. So far this summer I've been on a bus trip to Wales with friends, had a few days in Yorkshire at my brother's when we went fossil hunting, another few days in Scotland, to Sheffield to a Tina Turner concert, and a dawn chorus walk nearby. At the end of August I'm joining my sister on holiday on one of the Hebridean islands. Apart from that I spend my free time here on h2g2, in the garden, with family, getting involved in our village hall activities, scottish country dancing, playing the clarinet (badly), tai chi...it sounds a lot busier than it feels.

Scottish Country dancing?smiley - winkeye
Sounds interesting.
I just imagined what a monster playing a clarinet would look like.smiley - winkeye I don't see you as a monster anymore, only if I read your nick.
I haven't done too much yet. I think I'll go to Italy for one or two weeks, but I suppose I won't have too much time left.
Are you a fan of Tina Turner? I don't really know her music, I think she was just too old for me. ( born 1985)

King Arthur is tragic, it strange to read, because the Christianity seems to be wrong, it seems as if God wouldn't exist and only the other gods were real. (I'm reading "The Mists of Avalon" by Marion Zimmer Bradley)
It's kinda confusing.

I'm sorry I haven't replied for some time, I wasn't online at all.

Ah- found the Hebridean Islands in my Atlas. They look cold.
Is fossil hunting looking for things that had died ages ago?
We once had a assistant teacher from Scotland, she was funny but kept talking about Rugby...
