I have been piecing together information about Paget's discovery at Baia and am very interested in any more information you may be able to give about this fascinating place, especially about your later findings after Paget wrote 'In the footsteps of Oprheus'.
I have both Paget's book and Temple's, which are both an interesting read. I also have a set of pictures of the entrance buildings. I also have both Paget's paper and Hardie's papers written for the British School at Rome.
I would dearly love to make a 3D computer model of the complex but Paget's sketches are inaccurate in places and are hard to follow. One of them clearly has a scale that is wrong. The S bends in the tunnels are mentioned but there are no details of these.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
