h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Are you one of those internationally famous rock-climbers, or do you just do it at weekends? In the UK or somewhere else? I tried a couple times in summer camp as a teenager but I haven't for a long time. It's fun, though, and I'd like to get more into it seriously.

i try to go climbing at the rock gym, here in New Jersey. my school has a gym and there is another one about ten minutes down the road. it's realy addicting! but now i am just a beginner, there are many courses that i can't do. you should look on the internet to find out if there are and walls around you. it's a great way to get some climbing done.

There's one of those public rock-climbing walls on Broadway & 62d, 63d, near Lincoln Center. I suppose I should go over there & check it out.
