Hi, I was interested in a comment you made on the Dawkins thread and I
just want to make sure I understood properly.

I think you mentioned that you accepted the various scientific
theories (as "theories" go), such as evolution, "space-time", and
the "big bang".

Then I think you mentioned that since "God" is "aware" of/
has "access" to all of "space-time" then he would have been able to
create man (within this "period" of space-time) by creating all the
appropriate processes (which we approximate as the "laws" of nature)
and then "firing" up his "creation" through generating the matter
and the energy at the point in "space - time" we call the "big bang".

Was that what you were saying? If so, is this your own idea or
did you get the idea from someone else.

Hi smiley - smiley

I don't recall saying anything like that ..

"Space-time" has been created by Almighty God .. in other words, 'time' as we understand it, is PART OF THE CREATION

In other words, time is just a perception .. a dimension that appears to us as if it's something moving from the past to the future.

Einstein seemed to grasp this belief/theory quite well .. this is why Almighty God knows the future .. it's not hidden to Him, as He's not part of the Creation smiley - ok

The big-bang bit seems to be on the same track as what I understand..

Yes .. the big-bang corresponds to when space-time (the universe) was created .. of course, this means that time, as we understand it, started at the big-bang .. I also feel that although time appears linear to us, that doesn't mean that it is .. this is an assumption based on our perception.

It's almost as if some people see 'time' as being 'God'

eg. that it's defined & eternal smiley - tongueout
