Just felt I had to drop by. You've posted a couple of times things that imply you expect not to be around for much longer - just now on the Dawkins thread you've said you don't expect to 'be here' for Easter.

Maybe you just mean you're getting bored with the God threads on h2g2 (I could hardly blame you!). And I realise the two of us see eye to eye about very little on those threads. But if there's something more serious up and you need to talk, you can find my email address on my PS.

Just an offer in a spirit of friendship, no alterior motive.

Gif, thanks. I suppose it's a conscious decision to finish participating in religious conversation on h2g2, and as that is what I'm known for here, I imagine that means a complete break until perhaps the autumn. (If God wills and we're all still here )

I also think that 3 months of people moaning and groaning at me, is enough self inflicted "torture" for me, at the moment. Plenty has happened in that time, with the main thrust being the realisation of the seriousness of the economic downturn. I have strong reason to believe that that's what made me come here, albeit indirectly, and have been expecting major crisis even when the government were saying "no big deal" back in the autumn.

I would like to head for the mountains (somewhere such as Wales), but have a family to consider. Take care.
