A week of ACEing can be quite draining, but I love meeting more folks. I amlearning a lot I did not know before:ie how to make links. It can be a bit contentious on the forum at times, but I think we know we all work together. You could help me with something: just what is >360< and >SoP< and how are we to use them? Its like a maze. I need a Penelope to give me a ball of string so I can find my way out .

360 and SoP are sites that are like "relatives" of h2g2 - they share the same servers and system.

To find out about 360 - have a look at A542594 - I think that Maggy can explain it all better than I

SoP are local orientated sites which (I believe) are linked to local BBC radio stations in London, Devon, Lancashire and Northern Ireland.

If you find a newbie for either of these 2 sites and you want to welcome them Peta has put some appropriate welcomes on the ace forum - go there and look at the "files" page.

Re the ACE Forum stuff - are you "post"ing or "reply"ing - if you reply the text of what you are replying appears and you can just add your reply above it.

Researchers can post and access all 3 sites - if they know about them - but most people don't know about the other sites when they sign on - or have no interest in them.

I have been replying (to all, blind) but the history is getting cut off. I wonder if this another AOHell glitch?

I am going to cheack the other sites just out of curiousity.
