Yes, I was hoping to talk about your views and explain why I think they're wrong, and why some of them offend me. I'm hoping you'll come to understand why everyone, including me, have been biting at your tochas.
I'd like to make some attempt at a logical discourse. Best case scenario, you present your opinion, I present mine, you agree that I'm right, and then everybody's happy! But that's probably not going to happen. So I just want you to understand my opinions.
I'm sorry, but I don't want to be friends with you. I do want you to understand why I believe what I do, and vice versa.
And I promise I'll try not to bite your head off.
