Saw your posting on the NHS and found myself agreeing with you

I love baking bread (and cakes) myself , and for the last three years I've been living in Nottingham (though I've just finished university). I like trying new ales too , do you have any favourites?

There's some lovely small breweries...
Have you heard of the Brewsters Brewery? they do a lovely Pale Ale, just the thing for the summer..

Have you found anything worth chasing up?

I get really hot under the collar about the NHS.. I think that it's being quietly dismantled bit by bit, Although my accident prone daughter has always received wonderful care, at all hours, within the A+E, and the Mental Health sections.. are you a health worker, or a civilian like me?

Unfortunately I'm now near London so it's London Pride or London Pride. I like the stuff but I prefer the variety

I'm a regular civilian , but I worked in a hospital restaurant over the summer. When all the soap dispensers were replaced to ones in bright primary colours with a cartoon soap blob called 'Mr Soapy Soap' I started to wonder if the intelligence of NHS workers was being insulted .

?? were they trying to make hygeine fun or something?

I'm not entirely sure , the hospital did loose it's one star rating when I was there, might have been to promote handwashing but not a good way to go about it.

I only had one pint , I've only seen it sold once, tried to get another pint and they ran out

I'm OK , feeling very much that the 19 miles between me and London isn't very much, but all family and friends are safe and well fortunately. Very pleased my brother got a lift in to work yesterday or it probably would have been a different matter. Still, I'm determined to go to the London summer meet next weekend
