I agree with you on wanting to see more people open up about themselves here on h2g2. I've talked with some people here and in AIM and not known their gender, age, or even nation of origin. And while it doesn't make any difference, I think after developing a friendship with somebody, you should probably know their gender if nothing else.
I've got a link to my bio page (http://www.h2g2.com/A143182) on my personal space but I didn't want to add any more junk on there than I've already got!
I like the photo of you as a little kid, btw. It's very cute!
Oh, and thanks for the edit of my Moon page. I never did get around to proofreading it. Odd the way the end of it just stopped in mid-thought. In answer to your questions - no, the Moon will never leave orbit, it'll just recede to a point farther out in space. And more girls are born after the new moon - that last bit is the part that got cut out!
I didn't take your advice about removing the fragment about man walking on the moon being 'A singluar distinction.' One thing I've learned is that breaking grammatical rules sometimes has a lot of impact - and that's what I was looking for there.
Have you read the entries on Denver yet? I did the subedits on them and was hoping you might have something to add.
Hope to see you around!

Thanks for the response, Jimi X. Your bio page is the most informative I have ever seen, and the best thing is that you remember your audience. The European h2g2 Researchers can even hope you'll visit them someday! By the way, does your h2g2 name have anything to do with Jimi Hendrix?
Thanks for the compliment regarding the kiddie photo. Enjoy it while you can, as it will be replaced fairly soon.
No problem with the edit on the Moon entry. Joanna asked, and I was glad to help. OF course, I had to mention the fragment even though I kind of liked it too, to be honest. I wouldn't want to risk a bad reputation.
And I have read the entry on Denver. That was some good eediting on your part. It was very complete, I felt. I was itching to see more about the 16th Street Mall, but honestly it would best be relegated to its own entry.
And wouldn't you know it, I was born during the week of the full moon!
You can see what the phase of moon was when you were born at:

I meant "editing" and "new moon."
Apparently, the reason that I am so good at editing is that my own writing is so unreliable and must always be checked. But don't give my secret away!

Most reporters I know say editors are reporters gone bad!
I'll be looking forward to seeing the new photo! Maybe we'll get to see that little one grow up before our eyes?

The new photos is up now. Both the kiddie photo and the new one have me leaning over with my hands touching my knees. As you can see, that's where the similarity ends.

I do not like the glasses you wear on that photo. They look awful. That is another reason for me to not put up a photo of myself. People could think MY glasses look awful (which I, of course, think they don´t

I don't worry about it. I have many incarnations, so I don't get annoyed when people nitpick on a particular one.
My latest incarnations includes short hair, contacts, no make-up, and extra freckles.

That is one seriously wild look! About to go out for a wild night on the town?
I always find it interesting to see what people look like, regardless of their cosmetic 'beauty'. I've also got glasses, a nice big scar on my chin (presently covered by a goatee which the daughters love to pull), and a thick, uncontrollable shock of black (I still insist that it's dark brown) hair.
Maybe someday I'll get a photo of me uploaded onto the bio page, but it's something of a bother to find a picture of me as I have always been the family photographer. The only adult pictures of me are on my work ID and driver's licence - except for ones in which I'm playing with the girls with my back to the camera.
You've inspired me, however, to try and find something...

If I remember right, I was about to attend a production of the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Now that I think on it, one reason my glasses look awful is that my ears are misaligned. One is about an inch and a half further up on my head. If I didn't get my glasses adjusted every two weeks, they would go crooked on my face.
If you do put up a picture, drop me a line. I'd like to see this 'uncontrollable shock' of black hair.
