Hi, stranger! Long time no talk. How have you been?

Wow! No kidding! Long time no talk...

Well, I try to keep my biography up-to-date about the big picture of my life. I'm currently considering looking for a new job in January. The big, evil law firm I work at has more job perks than I expected, but I worry I'm going to be stuck in the same position with the same pay forever. I'll be looking for a place that will encourage me to grow.

And hey, I'm going to Pennsylvania for Christmas to meet my boyfriend's extended family. He's super excited about the trip. Peter makes me very happy, but I'm not going to be sure about things working out until he's fully employed and can tell me what his longterm career goals are. It will be a year with him in February, and I really want *something* concrete by then. Frankly, this situation is making me nervous.

I love living in New York and still haven't seen even the smallest part of it. I've met a lot of people, though, and some of them stuck. I run a D&D game at my apartment on Saturdays now and go out drinking or whatever every now and again with Peter and his longtime friends.

If you're curious about Joe, he's still hanging on by his teeth at Global Crossing in Denver. They're down to 15 staff members on the video side in Westminster, and Event audio is run entirely in Canada now.

Joe still wants to move to New York, but he hasn't been able to gather the cash or a generous enough job offer to make it. He's living with a married couple he's known for years to save money on rent right now. They have two cats, and Zem's had an interesting time adjusting to them. Joe's visiting New York and his parents in New Jersey right now. I caught Return of the King with him last Friday, and Peter was with us too. That was fun.
