can you glance over something for me?

I'm not really here

I think I mentioned to you that I might do one, and you asked to see it? Or maybe I'm thinking of someone else entirely. *panics*.

Anyway, would you care to look over it for me? I've used the word "sexuality" in it, which I did think of using to link to your project, but I didn't know if I should or not. What do you think? Of that and the entry.

Yes! You're right. It was me.

Sounds like a wildly fascinating scene. Everything in the entry looks super. There are two things I found myself wondering, though. First, how much does it cost to attend a typical event? I understand it may vary, but a roundabout idea would be helpful for people who are deciding whether to go.

Also, could you describe the different areas? (I mean the club zone, exhibition area, playzone, etc.) If someone was interested in exploring their curiosity but wanted to avoid anything too graphic on their first night, should they avoid certain areas? Or are they in altogether the wrong place if they feel a need to avoid anything?

Oh! One last thing. In the 'Etiquette' section, you might want to put a warning in for people who aren't used to the fetish/BDSM scene. It's all too easy to say something entirely stupid to the wrong person at the wrong moment. This is possible in any similar club, but the social repercussions in a club filled with 1200 people is quite astounding!

I recommend watching politely until you have explored the place. And while it's perfectly okay to get into casual conversations in most areas, a newbie might be unintentionally rude if they tried inserting their heartfelt opinions and/or suggestions during a, um... performance. smiley - biggrin

I don't necessarily think it's appropriate to link to the sexual orientation article, unless you want to specifically mention that homosexuality and bisexuality may be openly explored at the Torture Garden. In any case, I would guess this entry is destined for Peer Review. So remember that you can't link to articles that haven't been featured before yours. Sadly, it's going to be a few more weeks before the Sexual Orientation project is ready.

Overall, super job! I imagine the entry will do quite well in Peer Review.

Thanks very much. smiley - biggrin I'll add your suggestions in when I get a chance. I hadn't thought of putting the price in, silly me.

I've put it into peer review, having paid attention to your suggestions - I think. Here's the peer review thread if you want to look at it again. And thanks for being so helpful. :-) http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F48874?thread=119823&post=1028682#p1028682

I do ramble on sometimes, don't I? smiley - bigeyes

Yes, the additional material is fabulous. I don't have any more questions! Phew. smiley - winkeye

Good luck with Peer Review. Somehow, I doubt you're going to need any further assistance from me. smiley - smiley
