Hi BM
thought I'd drop a line to your PS rather than keep posting to the What Time Is It thread .... I'm always a bit scared of getting it in the neck for chatting, even tho no-one else seems to have posted there for days and days and days - d'you think we scared them off??

Probably.
Probably got a bit too personalised for some
I'm going to have to do a bit of tidying in here.
My ps isn't up to much but you are welcome all the same

- it's nice to chat .... we seem to share the same posting hours at the mo don't we
on that note I'm afraid I'm going to give in and catch some s - gotta get up early and round up the troops for school/work but maybe catch you again soon?

I'll catch you on the flip-flop
as we used to say in the bad old days of C. B. radio.

My slow response is down to the fact that I bruised my wrist earlier and it's hard to type.
I'll use that excuse for the typos also.

what's the flip flop? I used to have a boyfriend who had a C.B. - all I can remember is I used to be referred to as a Seatcover
no worries about the typos - it's the sentiment that counts
gotta go ... ttfn

On the flip flop means on the return journey
Trucker talk you understand
It was perverted into meaning next time
Seat cover, I had forgotten that one

you're not tardy at all - it's 10.58, I'd say you're spot on
my day's been ..... hectic - but then they mostly are, except the bit when I'm at work, that is more sane
What do you do when you're not working??

This month the only thing I've had time for when not working is sleeping
Still I've made sure that I am off this weekend
Three whole days off
I think there is probably some bike racing on so I'll watch that on Sunday
On Monday I've booked a day out with Mr. Plod
Saturday is up for grabs(I'll most likely have a lazy day)
Have you any plans for the weekend?

Sounds like fun
Well, my girls are off to their Dad's for the weekend so I will spend some time at the gym and on Saturday I'm meeting friend up in London for the afternoon which will be .... the rest of the weekend will just be domestic stuff I fear - still better than being at work

My back garden is looking the worse for wear so I might do some tidying up out there Saturday

No rain please
My grass is so long(becaise I haven't had time to cut it)that If it gets any longer I might go in never to return.
You never know I might find a lost tribe or something in there

you'll have to give up working all this overtime .... life has to be attended to as well - you know what they say about all work and no play?

You are right of course.
But it is a job I find great satisfaction in and at the moment we are busy and low on manpower.
Still the last couple of days have been quiet for me so I feel more active now than I did last week.

well in all seriousness, if you're enjoying work then there's no harm in doing it ... as long as there's no-one at home, frying pan in hand, waiting for you to come back
