And now for the official, slightly more tedious, version of the welcome... 
Welcome to the Guide! I serve the Powers at the Towers in the ubiquitous role of Assistant Community Editor (ACE)... the pay is pretty lousy, and the benefits are a bit dodgy, but you can't beat the hours. Anyway, it is my task to hunt down new researchers, bag 'em, tag 'em, and deposit them in places where they can be skinned and dressed... no, wait, that was something else. Ah, yes, now I remember... I was supposed to help, or something. Anyway, here's a couple of links that should help you make your start:
