Morning! (evening)... welcome to the guide!... I'm Njan, ACE. The ACEs, or assistant Community Editors, are the people who welcome people to the guide, and generally help out searching for new pages etc. Therefore, let me be the first person to extend the official h2g2 welcome, and hand out a plate of cookies.
If you need a hand getting used to the guide, please feel free to shout at me, or go to the ACE's Homepage (Linked to from the h2g2 homepage). Otherwise, have fun, expand the user page, and get article writing!... Take care!
- Njan.

No problem, all part of the service. And every ACE's message is hand-typed.
What a gentle-person... a bow... thankyou! *smiles*
Aloha!

I'm sorry to bother you, Sir, but I have a question:
Do you know where I can learn about how to use HTML? I've been looking at a lot of the other Guide Articles, and I think that I'd like to use a lot of their effects... but I don't know how.
Thank you for your time.

If it's HTML you want, you could try http://utopia.knoware.nl/users/schluter/doc/tags/index.html or http://htmlgoodies.earthweb.com/ (the second one might be slightly better to learn from - the first is better as a reference guide).
For GuideML, try here: http://www.h2g2.com/A246287
