HI there! I thought I'd find out about you after nattering in the 'Scotch' thread and wanted to mention that your page is one of the most fun personal spaces I've read. Partiularly like the interlude.

awww... thanks. the idea was original but the line of smiley's wasn't, as is most of the stuff there. i like learning by doing so now i can use quite a lot of the GuideML, but if i'm honest most of it was nicked from other pages. did you see the hidden links? there's a good one about cheese near the bottom.

question, what do the GURU's do? i've never really looked into this before...

Guru's are basically the volunteer technical support. If something isn't working on the site then we contact the ed's and find out why. We also try and work out why a researcher is having difficulties with something and of course, help out with guide ml!

yeah the cheese is a link to an underguide entry about cheese and why it's the best thing there is. there's one about asteroids around somewhere too.

When I have woken up and got settled at uni I will search for them, promise. You may have to remind me that I written that!

Well, possibly actually, although the word 'atoms' makes me think chemistry. But you'd need to know about pressure and stuff which seems physics ish. What's the answer?

it's an estimate question so there isn't really an answer. also it doesn't say how big the A should be. the teacher even called it a horiffic prep when we were talking about it. he's more boring that cricket and about as funny as a heart attack.

my english teachers are good. one goes on about how Dracula is all about sexual imagery and gives us hobnobs in class and the other i'm pretty sure is drunk most of the time. they're both so funny and are really good teachers too.
