Sounds good. For the first few months I can recommend the purchase of, for want of a better term, a 'boingy' chair (you know, those self supporting cloth/metal rod affairs). Sit baby in boingy chair, place toe on bottom of chair, boing. Keep boinging and baby will fall asleep. You may want to experiment with rhythm, but I found a rate of 1.5 bps (boings per second) to be most effective at start, reducing bps with state of conciousness.

Gah! That'll teach me not to notice the second LED.
bps. Good one Frogbit.
Hey Eats. shifts have always got to me
Bad proxy connection has kept me offline most of the evening. Not very good now, carfully pressing of the 'post' button is required.
Hi eatsmice :-)

1.5 bps - not sick speed. Count it in your head and tap with your foot - see? It's not so bad. If it's a girl the vomiting will be practically non-existent. Boys - they yak all the time.

Hi B-17. LED?
Bad proxy - you with freeserve anytime? I had no end of gip with them tonight.

Suffered the double-post the other night too, its not just you!
Shirt ironed.....humbug.
4 1/2 years of shifts that were irregular to say the least just about did me in. Luckily now I'm days, plus on call one week in three (two at the mo cos one guy is abroad).
How's your missus? All Ok now?
Hi eatsmice :-)

6 and a half years and still going. Any jobs up there for someone with no experience who commands lots of money?
Well, I have experience, but just not in what you do
Missus is doing ok. She has gone back to work in the mornings this week, taking it easy. She comes home at lunchtime and promptly falls asleep, but not before waking me up Still last nightshift tonight, until next Thursday.
As to the rest of my life, well we'll not talk about that just now. Serously, you wouldn't want to know. The things we do to ourselves, eh?

God I'm missing people posting now
Sorry, Frogbit. Er, no this is from work. Home isn't too bad, apart from BT bouncing me 3 minutes after I first log on. You learn to live with it and just wait before doing anything important.

Hi eatsmice :-)
Babel17 Posted Oct 3, 2001
Got and replied thanks
In your class? Doubt I'm even in your league mate
I think you might have been a year or two above me LOL
Assume insomnia has a firm grip on you again? I have been like that the last couple of days, which for a nightshift is quite annoying. Oh well, last one tonight.
