Slipknot? Yeah, l saw them play back in May at a festival we have out in these parts. Scary kids, but a damned good show. Ya gotta love the masks...

Suppose you might leave before you read this, but best of luck anyhow, and try not to get yourself deported. Oh, and watch out for the spiders...the hideously large, hideously poisonous Australian spiders... smiley - winkeye
(Lil tells me we have a touch of arachnophobia in common, too...)

That we do. Luckily it's winter here, so the spiders are asleep. The rain will keep 'em at bay too *^_^*

One of the smoke detectors in my house kept going off all night. According to an engineering friend, this happens when a spider crawls inside it and steps on two wires at once, making a circuit -- fries the spider and sets off a quick buzz.
But if the corpse stays attached to the two wires...and there's a slight breeze...the alarm keeps going off in short quick bursts, as the dead body swings in the air.

Pleasant thought at four in the morning when the fire alarm keeps going off...cruel and unusual spider-torture.

Sympathies for them

One place we stayed at in Aus was frequently frequented the rats and ants. One rat took the business of disposing itself into it's own hands. Got caught in something (can't remember what) above a door (next to my room) where it died and let it's smell waft...
Lucky I had a blocked nose smiley - smiley
