h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I register for my classes in a couple weeks -- I'm kind of looking forward to it. I'm also going to audition for a role in a local production of "The Mouse Trap" -- which I'm kind of looking forward too, kind of not (as there are so few females in that play, there's significantly less chance of getting a part, don't you know....)

Over the weekend I attended the Gateway Sci-Fi Convention, which was a blast. I'm not a big Sci-Fi person but they featured amongst their guests the famed British fantasy/comedy writer Terry Pratchett (whose books I enjoy) and the cast of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (which is my favorite show). Although I didn't have the freak-out session that some of the fans had when they got to meet their fave star, I was (in a private, circumspect kind of way) utterly thrilled to bits.
