Hi Courtney, can you remember, you used to be my Guardian Angel?! I wanted to become one too, and I guess now would be a good time! I hope the Angels Page can get straightened up soon, I believe lots of folks over here will need the guidance to get them back on track again! You still doing the angeling thing? Hi Case Of course I remember you. I tried to go to your page yesterday but the servers told me to go to hell. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about even staying on the site. I'm unhappy about a some of the things that have changed. I will hang around and see what happens though. I hope the Angels page gets back up to speed very soon. Talk to you soon.

They wrecked your place too? Seems that way, not a single nice picture showing, and your journal entries missing. Well, I will hang around also, I really hope they can make things better. As I now have a fresh new place I can start over with a clean slate. One thing I still wanna know is how I can include pictures, because I have lots! I gues I will have to figure stuff like this out before becoming a Guardian Angel. Talk about making things difficult!

Hi Case, I know these new changes played havock with my page You can't have any outside links to pictures off the site, but you can link to any picture that is on site. (Thats why I lost my pics) If you go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A187229 this should be able to help you if your page is in guigeml. If you can't find your answer there leave a message at the bottom and someone will get back to you.

I hope the moderators lighten up a little they are being very strict right now.

I've already done some checking, it seems unofficial pictures are completely ruled out. Real bummer. But I think club logos and so on like the Guardian Angels picture might be able to get onto the BBC servers and be official, so you'll be able to include it. I hope it happens soon.

Hi Case, sorry it too so long to get back to you my computer has been being very annoying. I hope at least the GA logo can be reinstated, and the rest of the club logos, at least it would be a little more like home. I poped by your page I'm sorry to see you were/are feeling depressed. If my jurnols were back I had a post that always cheered me up. I miss my jurnol

I wonder if computers are ever going to be really reliable! At least I am getting along rather well with mine so far, I don't know what I would do without it!

Other people are also annoyed at having lost their journals. But it does seem as if the journals are slowly coming back.

I miss my entire old page! But I am working on my new one.

I hope you get your old page fixed up nice. Slowly this place is starting to feel a bit friendlier and more comfortable. But I am still not quite at ease; as soon as I am, I will replace my rant with a nice introduction.

By the way, Douglas Adams has succeeded in posting pictures here! It's good to know they are willing to make at least some exceptions.

Hello. Have you been getting back into Guardian Angeling yet? You know, just before the site shut down, I wanted to become a Guardian Angel too. I was just getting the hang of everything. And now I don't know what's going on anymore, it seems I will have to figure everything out from the start! So I don't know if I'll be able to help anyone. How about you - have you figured out what's going on here yet? If so, seems I'm going to need your Guardian Angel services after all.

I haven't really been able to be online enough lately to be very angel like and this site a bit unusual, but if there is anything I can help you with I would be more then happy to try.

Thanks a lot. Maybe I am actually here more than you. I'm trying to get in a few hours each week. I'm getting the hang of it, but not writing entries - I don't know what to write about any more. I wonder if the other folks also feel their speed a bit broken. I used to write entries about African animals, with pictures included - I feel they don't work without the pictures. After all if you want to inform people about animals, that should at least include an idea of what it looks like. And now I can't use pictures any more. Nowadays I'm mostly just talking to people in forums. Don't know when, or if, I will write entries again, or what they will be about.

I have noticed a lot of people not being around as much as before. I agree pics would help many entries about certian animals, plant, etc. I am not sure if I will post any entries because of not being sole owner, the terms and conditions say they own part of the copywrite. Some other people have been nervous about entries also. The BBC is a very larg corprate company as the old H2G2 was a small corp. which I don't mind supporting, big corp. I think make enough money on there own.

Yes, the copyright thing... For me that is also important, because I write seriously, meaning a lot of what I write is good enough to perhaps be publishable. Because anything I write will now be owned by the BBC who may make money from it while I get nothing, I will tend to be hesitant about writing here. Other people have said the same. I really wonder what is going to happen. But like I said I will still participate in forums, discuss things, and keep an eye out for what's happening.

Sorry for not replying soon my life went to hell very quickly, but I'm back again.

I have always been a little unsure about writeing entries but I also will keep posting in forums and expressing my opinions openly.
