Gratulation und Aber Hallo...
Researcher 168963 Posted Jul 12, 2001
That isn't fair. However I don't actually do anything during my weeks, so I supppose I shouldn't complain too much...actually yes, I will complain, because it still isn't fair.
to the weekend- one day left.
Gratulation und Aber Hallo...
Monsignore Pizzafunghi Bosselese Posted Jul 12, 2001
Sorry, I couldn't resist
BTW, I heard rumour that there *could* be some weekend-sweetening message on its way which you, I suppose, would appreciate. I won't go into detail, just in case the message fails. Have to keep you in suspense...
But I'm going to put some more in the fridge
Gratulation und Aber Hallo...
Researcher 168963 Posted Jul 12, 2001
A weekend-sweetening message for me? Am I going to win the lottery?
*happy at the prospect of more and pondering what to spend my millions on*

Monsignore Pizzafunghi Bosselese Posted Jul 13, 2001
Well, finally! The message should appear in your Conversation List right beneath this one
Thoughtful as I am, here's the well-chilled !
Gratulation und Aber Hallo...
Researcher 168963 Posted Jul 14, 2001
I'm published. And I even got an email from tptb telling me it'd been recommended (is that a new measure they've taken up, or am I a special case?)
Gratulation und Aber Hallo...
Monsignore Pizzafunghi Bosselese Posted Jul 15, 2001
You're surely a special case, but not in that respect . The recommendation email is part of the new h2g2 (internal) software version called Ripley 1.5 .
Among others, there's also a 'RandomEntry' function!

Ooooh, I'm impressed. I guess you got sneak previews of all this as a scout.
More is in order, I think.
And as for Dancers' party, now where have I seen a before?
Gratulation und Aber Hallo...
Monsignore Pizzafunghi Bosselese Posted Jul 16, 2001
as to the , could it be that I got a sneak preview of that
But we Scouts did get only a few hours advance notice
Gratulation und Aber Hallo...
Researcher 168963 Posted Jul 17, 2001
Well, you're still more privaledged than us minions. And since we were originally drinking to just that, I propose a toast.
Gratulation und Aber Hallo...
Monsignore Pizzafunghi Bosselese Posted Jul 17, 2001
Yessss, back to where we started I'll drink to that!
BTW: The 'Escher Tesselations' entry will have to wait... I've started a University Project which has to be finished first.
Gratulation und Aber Hallo...
Monsignore Pizzafunghi Bosselese Posted Jul 18, 2001
It's on some weird stuff: radar
But there's one entry under construction which may be interesting for more than six or seven researchers: the dangers of electromagnetic radiation, with a first rough draft at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A595046
The project, however, will not keep me from drinking!
Gratulation und Aber Hallo...
Researcher 168963 Posted Jul 19, 2001
Oooh, very high-brow. Actually I'm interested in this sort of thing, although my knowledge is somewhat limited, so I liked what I read so far.
But you're right not to let it get in the way of drinking.
Gratulation und Aber Hallo...
Researcher 168963 Posted Jul 21, 2001
We seem to have English weather here all the time
However, not too much rain now. We can start going to parties and things like that outside with no more than a 50-50 chance they will be ruined. Enough to make it interesting without it being a foregone conclusion.
Gratulation und Aber Hallo...
Monsignore Pizzafunghi Bosselese Posted Jul 21, 2001
Blessed are the British, for they have sunrays all day long. Alas, it should be said that the sunrays are liquid
Gratulation und Aber Hallo...
Researcher 168963 Posted Jul 25, 2001
It's been sunny recently though. Except the day I really wanted sun, when of course it rained.
My OU entry is being subedited now Hooray
